Especially when you work with dynamic measurements, it is advantageous that the slide can be travelled with a specified speed. There are various components available.

First of all, a drive unit in the slide or, depending on the version, on the travel unit is required. In the easiest version this can be a motor inside the slide with gearbox and a friction wheel (in the case of STRAIGHT-line this is the position DRIVE-unit).

Additionally, a control and an operation unit are required that allow a controlled and gently acceleration and deceleration. For that, Kunz precision AG offers various possibilities:
